Phase Three of the new SA government’s new planning code came into effect in Alexandrina (and other councils) replacing the 1993 planning laws  3

‍ May 2021

Capitoline applied for an amendment of the code to allow for housing and other development.    Stephen Connor (owner Mount Compass Golf Course) appeared before the SA Parliamentary committee the ERD on 24 May.  He wanted areas of the golf estate zoned “recreation” to be changed to “neighbourhood”, but would accept “golf course estate” zoning.      more on the 24 May hearing

At the ERD’s suggestion Minister Vickie Chapman initiates an amendment process seeking the land be zoned “Golf Course Estate”  ⁴
